Check out the FREE GVT Student Bus Pass Program!

D51 middle and high school students may sign up for a free student bus pass. This program is offered by Grand Valley Transit, in partnership with the Mesa County Regional Transportation Planning Office and the Mesa County Workforce Center.

Parents are required to fill out a form to determine where funding comes from; students will receive a free pass regardless of whether or not the family qualifies for Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) funding. The data from this form is not shared. After filling out the form, stop by the front desk at MVCS or visit one of the pass pick-up locations to receive a sticker for your student’s ID; all students have to do to ride free is show the driver their student ID with the Grand Valley Transit sticker on it.

For more information on the passes and a link to the form visit the Grand Valley Transit website.
