Eligible high school students may take classes at CMU and CMU Tech with tuition paid for by MVCS!

Both full- and part-time students may take these classes!

The Colorado Opportunity Fund (COF), created by the Colorado Legislature, provides a stipend to eligible undergraduate students. The stipend pays a portion of the total in-state tuition when attending a participating college. All MVCS students are required to apply for COF to help cover their tuition costs. To apply for COF, click HERE.

Parents/students are responsible for the cost of all fees and books. Students who need assistance with fees for CMU Tech may apply for help by following the process below. This assistance is available for all students on an as-needed basis, and is tied to family income. Please note that fee assistance is available only for CMU Tech students—not for students in CMU concurrent classes.

  1. Fill out the D51 Meal Benefit Application HERE.

  2. If a student is determined to be eligible for free and reduced lunch, they will receive a letter from D51.

  3. Students with a free and reduced lunch eligibility letter should email that letter to concurrent@coloradomesa.edu to have their CMU Tech fees waived.
