MVEP parents may request support for their homeschooling experience. We have several different types of help available.

• General homeschool questions (how to start, how to choose and pace curriculum, record-keeping, setting up a school room, teaching multiple children in different levels, etc.)

• Troubleshooting questions (deciding on a different approach if “Plan A” isn’t working, determining adequate progress, knowing when to involve specialists, etc.)

• Reading help (how to teach different aspects of reading, tools that can help, etc.)

• Help with specific academic subjects

• Other specialized help (speech-language, motor skills, mental health questions)

• Encouragement
